Jorgensen 3712-HD Review: Jorgensen 3712-HD 12-Inch Heavy-Duty Steel Bar Clamp. I bought a few of these clamps the other day. I removed the plastic pads immediately because I use separate scrap wood to prevent damage. I figured the plastic pads would not protect from the clamp digging into my work. I do not like the course threads as compared to the light duty 3712s. I can not get as tight of bond as I can with the light duty 3712s. Other than that, a great clamp.9 of 13 . Read more »
